A Visit to the Library

Lesson: Literacy

Class: Rainbow Room Year: 2022 - 2023

Today a group of children from across the nursery visited Orford Jubilee Hub Library on our Minibus.

The children and parents were greeted by Trudy in the library and took part in a 'hunt' type activity finding a number of different animals hidden around the library. We then shared a story called 'Nature Trail' by Benjamin Zephaniah and noticed some of the animals from the hunt could be spotted in the book too. 

Trudy gave the children some minibeasts to colour in to add to the display up on the wall. The children and parents then had some time to explore and share stories. 

We look forward to visiting again next time.
