Rainbow Room - Big Question - Term 3.1 What do I know about Animals? - 2024 - 2025

Our big question this half-term is 'What do I know about Animals?'

Our focus stories will be, 'Dear Zoo', 'Monkey Puzzle' and 'Farmer Duck'.

The children will take part in a seasonal walk to the local park and also visit the pet shop where we will see rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish.  The children will be supported to engage in printing with animal shaped sponges, counting frogs in the water tray and singing 'Five Little Speckled Frogs'.  Our focus songs will be various animal songs: Incey Wincey Spider, There's a Worm at the Bottom of the Garden and Ten Little Tadpoles.

We will also also celebrate Father's Day and make special cards to send home.
