Forest School Term 2.1 Planting for Tu B'Shevat
We have been learning about the Jewish festival of Tu B'Shevat and have found out that the festival celebrates trees and their important role in giving us fruit and shelter. We said 'Happy New Year' to the trees and thought about how trees rest over the winter ready to start growing again in spring.
Jewish families often plant trees as part of their celebration and so we helped to plant some new privet bushes in Forest school.
