On Sunday the 14th of January it was World Religion Day.This year Nursery Celebrated it by learning about the Relgion Buddism.

Buddism started in India over 2,5000 years ago Buddhist followed the teachings of a man called Siddhattha Gotama. He became known as the Buddha which means 'enlightened'.

We had a visit from the Buddist Monk who talked about the Temple where he lives.He also told us that Buddhists meditate asa way to clear the mind or worries and fears and showed us how to meditate. The Children enjoyed joining in and meditating alongside the staff in the Sunshine Room.
