Our first few weeks together

Class: Sunshine Room Year: 2023 - 2024

We have had a busy time getting to know eachother these last few weeks. The children have already made lovely friendships with one another.  Our focus topic is "All about me" and the children have been very busy learning all about themselves and they have had so much fun in the process. They have used the mirrors to look at their reflections and learn all about their facial features, some of the children are now able to confidently identify their features. We have been dancing the term away listening to the nursery rhyme 'Heads, shoulders, knees and toes" to help embed their learning. The children have been busy practicising their artistry through self potraits and body paiting. We have had lots of fun together and we can't wait to see where the rest of this term will take us!
