Dogs for Good - January 2024

Today we had very special visitors from Dogs for Good UK Charity - Mary and her assistance dog Sheldon.

Mary told us all about the amazing things Sheldon does to help her get by each day such as picking things up she may have dropped, opening doors for her, helping to set up her wheelchair and helping her get dressed.

Mary explained that she is unable to use her legs to get around and sometimes her hands don't work very well so she relies on Sheldon to help her out as he is a very special, clever dog!

We could stroke Sheldon if we wanted to, he was very gentle and patient.

We had a lovely time meeting Mary and Sheldon today!
