November 2022 -Dogs for Good

Two special visitors came to Sandy Lane... Mary came to visit the children of Sandy Lane with kingsley her assistance dog from Dogs for Good.

Dogs for Good is a chariety that:

Provides advice and support to people who want a pet dog that can help them overcome specific challenges within family.

Trains assisatnce dogs to help adults and children laed more independant lives, at home and in the commuinity 

Trains and supports commuinity dogs and their specialsit handlers to work in acivity and therapy in commuinities and schools.

The children enjoyed stroking Kingsley and gave Kindsley a big clap when they watched him do his 'special tricks' that support Mary in her daily rountine such as picking up her keys if she drops them and taking off her socks and shoes.
