2022 Summer term 1- Focus texts
Class: Rainbow Room Year: 2021 - 2022
This term, to link with our direction of learning: "What do I know about animals?" our focus texts in Rainbow Room have been based on popular animal stories asnd songs. Our focus texts have been:
- Dear Zoo- Rod Campbell
- Doing the animal bop- Jan Ormerod
- Walking through the jungle- Julie Lacome
The children have loved investigating the textures, smells and sounds whilst learning about a range of different animals! They have explored tropical fruit and vegetable provocations, listened to stories and curiously engaged with special animal puppets!
