Rainbow Room CNY

Rainbow Room looked at images of the animals from The Great Race alongside exploring soft play toys and puppets to recreate the story. 

They were able to access a variety of mark making and sensory art projects using paint, pens and glitter to create their own "Year of the Ox" Chinese Calenders aswell as beautiful Chinese lanterns to hang from the ceiling in preperation for the celebrations to commence! 

They investigated noodles, rice and prawn crackers during their sensory provocations and also had the opportunity to taste some at snacktime.
