Term 3.1 Queens and Kings in the Forest

As we have been talking about the Queen’s Jubilee and our party plans in nursery we decided to make some crowns in Forest school so we could pretend to be Queens and Kings of the Forest!
We had to wind willow branches around each other into a circle to make a crown that would fit our heads then we had to find leaves and flowers to decorate our willow crowns with, winding what we’d found onto the crown. Last job was to add some ribbon, we chose red, blue or pink (we couldn’t find any white!) to make our crowns fit for a King or Queen.
