Sunshine Room: Forest school investigating the big question "Why are there so many leaves on the ground? 1.2
This term we have had so much fun investigating our big question - Why are there so many leaves on the ground?
The children have been exploring the forest as the season changed from Summer to Autumn, they observed as the leaves changed colour from green to red and brown and then as they started to fall from the trees onto the ground!
With the changing season came different types of weather the children have enjoyed the forest in the sun, rain, frost and snow! The different weather provided new opportunites for play; the children have enjoyed stamping on crunchy frozen leaves and splashing in muddy puddles and making leaf kebabs.
