Sunshine Room: Forest School 1:1

Our first half term in nursery has been very busy the children have settled into nursery and are now enjoying their forest school sessions.

We have reintroduced our Forest school rules of 'Good looking' 'Good listening' 'Kind hands' 'No picking no licking! (mushrooms and berries) and 'Up to the sky down to the ground' (how we hold sitcks) and talked about how the rules keep us and our friends safe.

We have explored the mud kitchen making pumpkin soup, pies and cakes. We have used the leaf and minibeast identication cards to find out about the trees and insects that live in the forest and have used the leaves to make leaf kebabs and leaf crowns.
