Garden Room- Big Question - Term 1.2 - Why are there so many leaves on the ground? 24/25

Our Big Question this half term is: 

"Why are there so many leaves on the ground?"

We will be discussing the big question in our hello time, we will introduce the children to autumn through fiction and non fiction books, and we will learn all about the different animals that we may see at this time of year.

We will be exploring leaves, making pictures with them, printing with paints and doing leaf rubbings. We will be thinking about Autumn and the sort of clothes we need to wear and what festivals we might celebrate.  We will also be learning some Autumn Makaton signs and an Autumn poem.

The children will become familiar with some Autumnal festivals, such as Halloween, Bonfire night and Diwali!
