Forest school Term 1.1 Making leaf pictures

This week in Forest school we have been learning how to use the mallets safely. Once we had learnt the rules for using the mallets we made some beautiful pictures using leaves and calico.

We placed the leaves inside the calico and banged them with the mallet until we could see the colour of the leaves coming through.

When we opened up the calico we had made beautiful leaf pattern pictures.
