SS. Term 1.1 What do I know about me?

Each half term we focus on a big question and this half term the big question is " What do I know about me? "

The children will take part in many actitivies and discussions about themselves; their features, their families and people who are special to them including their pets, where they live and much more.

The children will learn about each other, how they are similar and different to their siblings, family members and from each other at nursery.

The children will use mirrors to draw self-portraits, we will look at photographs of our families and our pets and talk about these during group times. We will participating in dance, yoga and use the gym equipment to explore how our bodies move and will also develop our vocabulary during singing time with songs that features our body parts.We will enjoy some environmental walks to look what we can see in our immediate area. 

Debs the potter will come to visit us to help us to create faces using the clay.
